Trump Spent Plane Ride To Las Vegas Ranting On Twitter About 'Fake News' And No One Is Surprised
An NBC report that Rex Tillerson called him a "moron" set the president off.
While aboard Air Force One traveling to meet with victims from the Las Vegas shooting, Trump passed the time by doing what he does best: tweeting about fake news.
The tweet storm came after an NBC News reported alleging Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called Trump a "moron" one day after the president compared the decision-making process on troops in Afghanistan to renovating a high-end New York restaurant.
According to the report, officials in the White House also said Vice President Mike Pence gave Tillerson a talk about how to ease tensions with the president.
The report also claimed Tillerson was close to resigning this past summer around the time Trump led "lock her up" chants while speaking to the Boy Scouts of America.
During a press briefing, Tillerson denied that he considered resigning and skirted around the topic of calling Trump a 'moron'
Meanwhile, Trump, who was literally in the air and on the way to pay his respects to the Las Vegas victims, went on a Twitter rant
Eventually, 45 got around to mentioning Las Vegas
