Cardi B Is an 'Emotional Proud Mommy' After Daughter Kulture's Graduation

The rap star shared pictures of the milestone occasion on IG.

Rap star Cardi B marked a momentous occasion on social media by sharing pictures of her daughter, Kulture's pre-kindergarten graduation.

"My baby moving on up🎓I’m a emotional proud mommyđŸ„șđŸ–€Give me good grades and I’ll give you the world baby 🌏," she wrote.

She shared several pictures of herself and Kulture Kiari—who will be five next month—the fashionable star wore a gray pantsuit, neon yellow heels, and a matching purse. Kulture was dressed in blue graduation regalia and a sparkly pink dress.

In one picture, they posed in front of a graduation banner. In another, the two smiled in front of tasty ice cream desserts.

Cardi also shared a picture that showed that Kulture was recognized for her dance moves.

Kulture is one of two children she shares with rapper Offset, they also have a 2-year-old son, Wave Set, and he has three other children from previous relationships.

In an interview with Vogue Singapore last year, Cardi talked about how important it is to teach humility to her children.

"They need to know to never feel comfortable. Don't ever feel like, 'I'm going to get it because I'm Cardi and Offset's kid,' " said Cardi. "They are never going to know what struggle feels like, so they might not have that hunger I had to leave the streets."

"Even though my kids are well-off, I want them to know that when you work for things and achieve it, it's more respected — especially when people see that you bust your ass for it."

Cardi shared that she relies on a trusted network to help raise her children, including her husband Offset and their extended family—including her mother as one of their most trusted caregivers. Still, she also added that she isn't quick to drop the kids off with their grandparents. “Your parents have already lived their life and raised their kids. They are older and don’t have the same energy as someone in their 20s. I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother.”

She also shared how important it is for Kulture to be able to have experiences she didn't have. “I want her to do amazing things when she grows up. She can jet-ski or go on a boat. I want her to be smarter than me—just be the better version of me.”
