Brandy hasn’t been releasing much in the way of music lately. Aside from her appearance on Ty Dolla $ign’s Free TC album, her voice has been missing.

That’s changed now though.

The Mississippi songstress released her latest single, “Beggin & Pleadin,” late yesterday (January 5) and it’s a confirmed banger. Over Pop & Oak’s production, Brandy proves she’s not slowing down and even gives us a little of that classic B we’ve been missing.

"Damn boy why you make it so hard?” she sings. “Stop putting your foot on my heart." She must have someone on her mind.

The release of “Beggin & Pleadin” comes just after last night’s premiere of her new BET sitcom, Zoe Ever After. Listen to it below.
