This Woman Cat-fished Her Niece And Found Out She Was Trying To Murder Her

The crazy details behind Marissa Williams' deadly plans.

A few years ago, a woman who decided to catfish her niece to keep tabs on her online activity got far more than she bargained for.

Patra Williams set up a Facebook page as Tre “Topdog” Ellis in order to better understand what her niece was doing after taking her in. That’s when 22-year-old Marissa Williams asked for Ellis to kill her aunt.

Subsequently Marissa was arrested for solicitation for murder but escaped while on probation. Patra’s niece has been a fugitive ever since.

Patra spoke about the ordeal for the first time recently with Channel 4’s My Online Nightmare and admitted, “I still wrestle with the thought of being deceptive towards her. But it was a necessarily evil. She was so angry with me. She totally disengaged from me. After that you could feel the tension in the house.”

Originally, Patra used Facebook to befriend her niece, who moved in with her three years ago. Her niece was then contacting “Tre” regularly and said she hated living with her aunt and along with wanting to kill her, suggested they have sex in her bedroom as Patra slept.

“I was just trying to be a doting aunt but I had no idea what I was getting myself into,” Patra told the network. ”I just wanted to keep my eye on her.”

We’ll keep you updated if Marissa is ever found.
