There was no shortage of couples tying the knot this year, from acclaimed actors to adored athletes and even high-class heirs; there was no lots of love and romance as some of our favorite couples made their vows to travel down a magical road to happily ever after.

Pinky Cole and Derrick Hayes
The Slutty Vegan founder and CEO married the Big Dave's Cheesesteaks founder in front of 300 family and friends in Atlanta, GA, on June 10. The couple had their third child in December.
Blair Underwood and Josie Hart
On June 24, Blair Underwood exchanged vows with his long-time best friend of 43 years during a Caribbean wedding in the Dominican Republic that Blair helped coordinate. His bride told PEOPLE, "It was surreal and magical. His vows, to hear him say the words he said to me for our forever, was incredible."
Kelley Carter and Moreno McCalpin
Emmy-award-winning journalist Kelley Carter, married her hubby in a "Vintage Black Hollywood glam" themed wedding. Their July 14th ceremony was attended by Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, who acted as a bridesmaid, along with Deborah Joy Winans, while long-time friend and journalist Jemele Hill was the matron of honor.
Joel Embiid and Anne de Paula
During the height of wedding season, the NBA MVP made a vow for eternity with the Sports Illustrated model in the Hamptons. Joel Embiid and Anne de Paula met in 2018 after being introduced by mutual friends, and they share a 2-year-old son named Arthur.
Jalen Brunson and Ali Marks
Jalen Brunson and Ali Marks were high school sweethearts and exchanged vows on the last day in July at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago. As they partied the night away with close loved ones, the athlete told PEOPLE it was "emotional to see everyone important to us in the same room."
Robin Roberts and Amber Laign
After an 18-year romance, Robin Roberts and Amber Laign tied the knot, wearing white, in a charming backyard ceremony at their home, where Roberts' brother—Lawrence Roberts Jr.—walked her down the aisle.
KJ Smith and Skyh Black
In 2021, during the pandemic, KJ Smith and Skyh Black met on set and began dating. On Sunday, September 3, they jumped the broom during an extravagant ceremony dubbed "The Black Experience," attended by Tyler Perry, Eva Marcille, and the cast of Sistas.
Myles Murphy and Carly Fink
On September 9, Eddie Murphy's son, Myles, married his girlfriend, Carly Fink, with whom he shares a 4-year-old daughter. Myles' mother, Nicole Murphy, father, and fiancé Paige Butcher, attended the Beverly Hills ceremony.
Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson
Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson declared their forever love for each other in a luxurious ceremony in Beverly Hills on September 7 that appeared to be officiated by Rose's former Chicago Bulls teammate, Joakim Noah.
Omar Dorsey and Crystle Roberson
In November, "Queen Sugar" actor Omar Dorsey married filmmaker Crystle Roberson in front of 80 of their closest family and friends at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Dorsey told PEOPLE, "Our wedding is a sacred dream come true," while adding, "We hope our marriage will be as everlasting and faithful as the rising sun."
Chiney Ogwumike and Raphael Akpejiori
Two-time WNBA All-Star Chinenye "Chiney" Ogwumike and heavyweight boxer and mechanical engineer Ethasor "Raphael" Akpejiori exchanged vows in Houston, TX in November. Their wedding spanned five days in a traditional-Western-themed ceremony that paid homage to their African roots.

Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro
During NFL Bye Week, Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill and his longtime fiancée, Keeta Vaccaro, made it official. A day after their nuptials on Nov.9, the South Florida SunSentinel reported that he confirmed the news in the team’s locker room following practice before Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium.
“I did get married to my longtime fiancée. It was about time, man. Feel me?" the wide receiver said.
Jean Elie and Randall Bailey
“Our wedding far and away exceeded all my expectations,” Bailey told the publication. Elie said, “My heart was filled with joy as I watched our family and friends blend together as if they had known each other for years.”
Kimberly Elise and George McCrary
Our favorite girl, Kimberly Elise, got hitched to her beau, George McCrary, over the summer. She shared the sweet moment on Instagram when he popped the big question. As McCrary removed the ring box from his pocket and took a knee, Elise became emotional and nodded, "Yes."
