EXCLUSIVE: Migos' Quavo Hosts Martell 'Home' For NBA All Star Weekend
There's no place like 'Home' just ask Martell and Migos' very own, Quavo Huncho.
Over the weekend, the classic cognac brand and BET held a one-of-a-kind experience for NBA All-Star Weekend, hosted by none other than rapper Quavo. Held in Chicago, the event included a live podcast hosted by NBA stars Nick Young and Games People Play actor, Sarunas Jackson, along with retired NBA star Kenyon Martin and entrepreneur Nick Storm. Special guests also included Chi-town's own, singer BJ The Chicago Kid, as well as a party by Grits & Biscuits, a BET "Freestyle Sound Booth" and cypher hosted by media personalities Ivy Rivera and JMulan, and food courtesy of Ghetto Gastropub.
Along with hosting the event, Quavo (who won the Celebrity All Star MVP back in 2018), was also sure to hit the Home By Martell x BET stage, performing a few of his hits, including his latest, "Ice Tray."
During an interview, the rapper and brand ambassador opened up about hosting the event. "If you’re looking to have a good time, then Martell [and] BET Home is where it’s at. Martell had everything going on during All-Star Weekend, and I hit that stage. It’s all about 'drinking blue and celebrating with friends and athletes," the rapper recently told The Source.
Quavo continued, "I’ve partnered with Martell because we’re both leaders in our fields. We’re innovators. Martell is all about making a statement and pushing boundaries. "
