This LA Rapper Is Going Away For 10 Years For Pimping Out Social Media Vixens

This is truly heinous.

Another rapper is heading behind bars for a pretty lengthy sentence. LA-based artist Ramsay Tha Great has reportedly been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to pimping out women he met through various social media accounts, the NY Daily News reports.

Ramsay, whose legal name is Brandon Christopher Ramsay, reportedly forced four different women from the Orange County region into a life of prostitution, according to CBS LA. The rapper reportedly leveraged his social media presence to coerce each of his victims into prostituting for him.

The district attorney confirmed that the 25-year-old earned thousands of dollars a week due to his heinous operation. One of the victims, whose identity has remained anonymous, claimed that Ramsay demanded at least $1,000 a day. She recalled one instance when she told the rapper that she wanted to leave him, for which he reportedly threatened her at gunpoint, the NY Daily News reports.

Ramsay was reportedly taken into custody in Feb. 2017, after investigators of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force observed mysterious sex-for-hire ads featuring an 18-year-old and 25-year-old woman. The investigators eventually got in contact with one of the women from the ad, which resulted in Ramsay’s arrest.

The rapper reportedly pleaded guilty to four counts of pimping and pandering, one count of human trafficking and one count of assault with a firearm. Ramsay’s past songs include 2015’s “Right Now” and 2014’s “Bye Bye.”
