While Rob Kardashian has been off the grid for some time, it appears as it was all for good reason as the troubled reality star was working on himself in a major way during his social media hiatus.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Rob has been "making big strides in terms of both his health and his relationship with his famous family."
The reality star, who left the limelight ever since his public and messy split from his ex-fiancée, Blac Chyna, last July, has reportedly lost a significant amount of weight. An insider claimed he dropped between 30 and 50 pounds and has been working diligently on getting his life back on track for the sake of his 1-year-old daughter, Dream.
"Getting out of the spotlight was so important for Rob," the source shared, specifically highlighting that quitting Instagram played a major part in his growth. "He needed to completely change his life. Things were spiraling out of control and his health and relationships were suffering. He needed to refocus."
After adding that Rob's life "is completely different now," the insider continued that in addition to his physical renewal, the reality star has been making a conscious effort to mend his co-parenting relationship with Blac Chyna.
"He's got his priorities in check," the source said. "First and foremost, he is there for Dream and he knows that to do so he needs to be healthy."
Recently, Chyna shared in an interview with the Daily Mail that she would entertain the idea of reconciling with Rob, romantically, telling the publication, "Yes, maybe [we'll get back together]. We'll see."
It's heartwarming to hear some positive news surrounding Rob after what seemed like a constant barrage of trials. Here's to him continuing along this path.
