“Young Thug” and “strange” are being found coupled beside one another more frequently than ever lately, and considering his latest Instagram post, it’s beginning to make more sense as to why. 

Posed in a loving embrace from one of their couple photo shoots, Thugger shared a flick of him and his fiancée, Jerrika Karlae, with an unusual comparison to another couple.

“N**ga we Barack and Michelle Obama,” he said in the caption.

The comments of confusion accompanying the post just about summed up the majority of reactions. But that’s not to say Karlae doesn’t enjoy chiming in on some of her beau’s unorthodox sentiments as well. Following Thugger’s September 2016 Billboard interview where he allegedly suggested that he would pass up his groom’s role to be the second bride at his wedding with Karlae, her response was swift and sassy.

“Two brides my a**,” she tweeted. “Funny joke though.”

She added, however, that Billboard had fabricated the interview a bit, a claim that was considerable enough following the uproar of his purple dress-donned JEFFERY album artwork.

Move over, Donald and Melania.
