Game Just Sent A Message To Meek Mill That Will Bring All Of Hip-Hop To Tears...

"Had beef wit a n**ga that could've ended in bloodshed..."

Published December 3rd

Amid a few of Meek Mill’s most public music industry fallouts in recent years, his antagonism with Compton rap star Game tops the nastiest of them in 2016.

The men pierced brutal shots into each other over social media during that time with text message receipts as well as Sean Kingston and Drake-alliances galore. The smoke cleared somewhat thereafter, but tensions were still boiling hot and eventually spilled over into 2017 by way of a ruthless Instagram post bringing baby mamas and Meek’s then-newly ex-girflriend Nicki Minaj into play.

As the wave of hip-hop truces wash over hip-hop in 2018, we’re now happy to inform fans that both men have decided to put their strained past behind them and move forward as brothers-in-rap, according to Game’s newest Instagram post and Meek’s response to it.

  1. Game posted a video showing Meek’s rap-landmarking ‘Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)’ blaring inside of what appears to be a nightclub

He started by explaining that their online conflict could have easily turned into on-sight “bloodshed” had they not stepped up to be bigger men. Game admitted that their differences divided them, but at one point, they were friends. “As young African-American men we grew up in similar situations where a lifespan for us was 21 years of age & that is still the age in which most of us coming from where we come from think we’ll never make it to,” he said. “I say all that to say, life is short & the say after @meekmill got out of jail, he called me & we talked for an hour…”

  2. According to Game, the conversation had less to do with their preexisting beef and more to do with new leaves

And new seasons, and new outlooks on the future, Game continued. They had this talk a few months ago, and from what Game sees, Meek has honorably kept his word. Despite the beef publicly ceasing, the “My Life” rapper also wanted to clear up a few possible misconceptions from that time as well. “Real n**gas sh**,” he wrote. “I never wished jail on you & I was genuinely happy when you got realeased. I said it over the phone & I’ll sat it again... ‘Welcome Home’ n**ga.”

  3. Meek received the message with open arms

And his return of love and vow to lead by example is inarguably one of the best moments of hip-hop we’ve seen all year.

    Salute, kings!
