  • “You Make Me Wanna…”

    Usher released this acoustic guitar-led single in 1997 from his second studio album, My Way. The r&b crooner wrote the track alongside frequent collaborator Jermaine Dupri and producer Manuel Seal, ultimately earning a Grammy nomination for “Best Male R&B Vocal Performance” at the 40th annual event.

    Released as the title track of his second studio album, the song “My Way” became a chart-topping hit, solidifying Usher's status as a rising star in the late 1990s.The music video featured a cameo from actor and singer Tyrese.

  • “Burn”

    Usher's hit song "Burn" is a powerful ballad about the pain of heartbreak and moving on and is regarded as one of the singer’s signature records. With its emotional lyrics and Usher's soulful delivery, the song resonated with listeners and became rightfully earning its many accolades, including two Grammy nominations at the 47th annual ceremony.
