Donald Trump's Lawyer Just Tweeted The Ultimate 'I Can't Be Racist Because I Have Black Friends' Collage
And danced around the topic when he got called out for it.
After President Trump's egregious remarks blaming "both sides" for the violence that occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia, one of his lawyers did the most racist thing a person can do when trying to prove they aren't a racist. He put all of his Black friends on display.
In a tweet, Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, shared a collage of pictures with Omarosa Manigault-Newman, online comedians and Trump supporters Diamond and Silk and other Black people.
He then attached a caption meant to elicit sympathy and convince others that he is no racist.
For some reason, this was the best way Cohen could think of to prove he isn't a racist
Which received a mixture of comments slamming him for the 'I have a black friend' card and remaining complicit in Trump's racism
Then New York Magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi posted a string of text messages where she questioned Cohen about the tweet

When asked how pictures of Black people prove he isn't racist, Cohen tried to talk about how unfair it is that people were upset about the president defending white supremacists
Things got worse when Nuzzi brought up David Duke
And then Cohen did what Trump and his supporters do best
Question: If you debate a Trump supporter and the term fake news doesn't get hurled, did the conversation really happen?
