Ashanti Has Been Added To The 2020 Millennium Tour’s Lineup

Ashanti fans, rejoice! 

The R&B songstress has officially been added to the upcoming Millennium Tour, as announced on Thursday (Dec. 5).

  1. Omarion surprised his fans with the big news after he posted the announcement to his official Instagram page Thursday morning (Dec. 5). “So excited to announce that Ashanti will be joining The Millennium Tour lineup," he wrote in the post, which he shared alongside an updated copy of the original flyer with Ashanti billed as a special guest on it.

  2. Ashanti teased the news on her own Instagram page where she hinted that she has much more in store for the coming year, writing “One step closer... 2020 is shaping up well.” Ashanti joins a stacked lineup that already features all of our 2000s R&B and hip-hop favorites, including Bow Wow, Soulja Boy, the Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie and Pretty Ricky


  3. 2019 has been a busy year for the former Murder Inc. songbird. Most recently, she was on the cover of Tory Lanez’s well-received Chixtape 5, where she also gifted her vocals to the album’s 14th track, “A Fool’s Tale (Running Back).” Since the top of the year, she’s been taking her time to drop a steady string of releases, including “Pretty Little Thing,” “Floating” and “The Road.” 


  4. RELATED: Bow Wow Will Join Omarion And Others On The Millennium Tour 2020

    Omarion also used the moment to announce that tickets for the tour went on sale Thursday morning. The first leg of the tour will kick off in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 29. Fans are over the moon at the news of her addition to the nearly all-male lineup.
