Here's A Timeline Of Cardi B And Offset's Roller-coaster Romance

Shortly after dropping the song, “Lick,” Cardi and Offset were often spotted together around this time leaving romance rumors circulating and fans freaking out with excitement.

The assumption of a hip-hop romance continued to swirl on the blogs and in the minds of fans after the duo attended Super Bowl LI together in Houston.

A few days later, Cardi seemingly confirmed their relationship by posting a photo together on Valentine’s Day referring to Offset as her “bae.”

Speaking highly of the Migos during an interview with Fader, Cardi refers to Offset as “the boy.”

Although she tries to be discreet about her relationship with the Atlanta rapper, she shares that “a lot of positive things came out” of meeting her future husband.

“It’s been a blessing, me meeting him and meeting his friends,” she gushed. “I see how hard they work and that motivated me to work even harder.”

Offset gifted Cardi a brand new extravagant chain personalized with bright red nails, rings on every finger, and a bandanna tied around the wrist while backstage at a Meek Mill concert.  

The duo caused more speculation about their relationship after they were both seen at the Icebox jewelry store in Atlanta reportedly looking for engagement rings.

Later, the “Bad and Boujee” rapper posted a video on his Instagram flaunting a huge diamond pinky ring. 

At the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show, Cardi claimed she wasn't engaged, stating: “I’m a woman. Every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children. It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can.” 

Cardi B and Offset secretly tied the knot on Sept. 20! Their marriage was a complete secret until the Migos rapper called Cardi his wife during an acceptance speech at the 2018 BET Awards.

Offset publicly popped the question to Cardi while on stage performing at the Power 99 Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia.

Her massive 8-carat engagement ring was all that and more, and she couldn’t help but post it on the ‘gram!

They broke up later that month after she thought he “stoled” her purple blanket, but soon worked things out.

Everyone’s jaws dropped when Cardi purchased Offset a Rolls-Royce Wraith for his 26th birthday.

Starting off the new year with infidelity rumors didn't settle well with Cardi after an alleged sex tape surfaced on January 4. This was the second cheating scandal from the couple in less than a month.

Cardi briefly addressed her soon-to-be husband from the stage.

She later took to Twitter stating the video is old news and existed before the two began dating. “When he did it again when the last two videos was before me? [Dumb] a**,” she tweeted.

Sick of public scrutiny, Cardi responded to those who questioned why she stayed in the relationship.

“No, it’s not right for a [n***a] to cheat…But what you want me to do?” she responded on an Instagram post. “Go f**k me another n***a? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This sh** happens to everyone and I be too, you too…People handle they relationship different soo.”

After cheating rumors surfaced, Cardi decided to address them during her interview with Cosmo. 

“It’s like everybody is coming down my neck like, ‘Why are you not leaving him? You have low self-esteem,” she shared with the magazine. “I don’t have low self-esteem… I know I look good. I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player. But I want to work out my s**t with my man and I don’t got to explain why.” 

She went on to say, “It’s not right, what he f**king did, but people don’t know what I did, ‘cause I ain’t no angel.” 

After months of speculation, Cardi confirmed that she was pregnant with Offset’s baby while wearing a fitted white dress made by Christian Siriano during her performance on Saturday Night Live. 

On the rise as hip-hop royalty, the couple shared the Rolling Stone cover flaunting her growing belly as Offset displayed plenty of PDA kissing her baby bump. 

Posting her maternity photos on Instagram, Cardi announced to the world that her baby girl with Offset has arrived by captioning the photo, “Kulture Kiari Cephus 07/10/18,” which is the name and DOB of her bundle of joy. 

Although the couple decided not to share pictures of their baby girl, the duo posted a mommy-and-daddy photo at the doctor's with their newborn.

Cardi couldn’t help but share a #TBT of a photo from their very private wedding ceremony, as the couple celebrated their 1-year-anniversary.

The rapping couple couldn’t keep their hands off each other at the 2018 American Music Awards.

"I really want to thank my daughter, because they said I wasn’t gonna make it after I had a baby,” Cardi shared in an acceptance speech for her music award. "And my husband -- hey, husband! Mmmm.”

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cardi said that Offset is a great father. “I already fell in love with the way that he was a dad already. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I can have a little one with this guy.’ He’s really good,” she said, adding, “I want two more.”

She also explained why she was scared to show off Baby Kulture. 

We were heartbroken when Cardi announced that she and Offset were no longer together because they “grew out of love.” We wish the family the very best in their co-parenting journey!
